Born during a blizzard in 1947 and has almost recovered. Now retired from working as a conductor on the railway and living in York. When not reading or writing, spends as much time as he can afford travelling to obscure geographical locations to look for butterflies. Has one previously published collection of writing entitled Running With Butterflies.
